Barrett Silver
Founder and President
A twelve year veteran of the solar industry, Barrett has helped clients in the residential, commercial, and utility scale sectors of the industry employ over 5 MW of solar energy.
He started Silver Lining Solar in 2015 to focus on the needs of local businesses and nonprofits so that they could fully appreciate the benefits of solar technology for their bottom lines and their communities.
Barrett has helped commercial solar clients as diverse as Regeneron, The Tarrytown Music Hall, The Jacob Burns Media Lab, among many others, and has worked for the solar industry’s leading panel and racking manufacturers. He graduated cum laude from Duke University and holds a Masters Degree in Philosophy from Brown University. He currently serves as a member of the New Castle Sustainability Advisory Board and lives in Chappaqua, New York in a home that makes its own solar domestic hot water.
